Copyright & license policy

1. Open Access Statement
Educational Research & Implementation (EduRE) is a fully open access journal. All articles are made permanently and freely available online immediately upon publication. EduRE does not charge any submission fees or article processing charges (APCs).

2. Copyright
Authors retain copyright in their published articles.

3. Publishing Rights
By submitting a manuscript to EduRE, the author grants EduRE and its publisher, Pegem Akademi, a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive right to evaluate, review, publish, reproduce, distribute, archive, communicate, and identify EduRE as the original publisher of the Version of Record in all media and formats, whether now known or later developed.

Upon acceptance, authors will be asked to confirm these publishing terms through a Publishing Agreement. This agreement does not transfer copyright to the journal or the publisher. No royalties, license fees, revenue shares, or other monetary compensation shall be payable by EduRE or Pegem Akademi to the author(s) in connection with the publication, distribution, archiving, or licensing of the article, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

4. Author Warranties and Responsibilities
By submitting a manuscript to EduRE, the author warrants that the work is original; has not been plagiarized, fabricated, falsified, or unlawfully copied; does not infringe any copyright, moral right, database right, trademark, privacy right, or other third-party right; and does not contain unlawful or defamatory material.

The author is solely responsible for the content of the article, including quotations, citations, data, tables, figures, appendices, supplementary files, and any third-party material used in the manuscript.

The author further warrants that all necessary written permissions for third-party copyrighted materials have been obtained before submission and that appropriate acknowledgment has been provided where required.

5. Creative Commons License
All articles published in EduRE are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution–NonCommercial–NoDerivatives 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0) license.

This license permits users to copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that:

  • appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the journal,
  • a link to the license is provided, and
  • the material is not modified, adapted, or used to create derivative works.

6. Article Sharing and Self-Archiving
EduRE supports responsible sharing of research outputs.

  • Submitted Version (Preprint): Authors may share the submitted manuscript on personal websites, institutional websites, or recognized preprint servers at any time.
  • Accepted Manuscript: Authors may store the accepted manuscript for personal or institutional record-keeping. To avoid version confusion, public sharing of the accepted manuscript before publication of the Version of Record is discouraged.
  • Version of Record (Published Article): Authors may share the final published version immediately upon publication on personal websites, institutional repositories, and academic platforms, provided that full citation details and a link to the journal version are included.

7. Third-Party Material
Where an article contains material for which the author does not hold copyright, the author is responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions before publication. Such material may be subject to separate copyright conditions, which should be indicated in the article where applicable.
