This study is a compilation study that aims to reveal feminism as a concept, the history of feminism, feminist approaches and educational views. In this context, the study consists of three sections. In the first section; feminism and feminist wave movements are included. In this direction, in the first wave movement, liberal feminism; in the second wave movement, Marxist feminism, radical feminism, socialist feminism, cultural feminism and black feminism; in the third wave movement, postmodern feminism, existential feminism, poststructuralist feminism, linguistic feminism, psychoanalytic feminism, Judie Buttler and Queer theory are explained. In the second section; feminist movements in Turkish society and history; in the third section, the perspectives of feminist approaches towards education are discussed.
